1950: ERS is founded in Kirkland, Washington as Eastside Credit Bureau by Dan & Irene Hunter.

1961: CCH is founded

1992: AHC, the predecessor to Convergent’s revenue cycle management division, is founded as Attorneys Healthcare Collections, Inc. by Larry Reid and Robert Smith.

1993: ERS opens Phoenix call center

1998: Convergent is founded

2002: ERS opens Atlanta call center

2002: Convergent opens Boca Raton office

2005: Convergent opens Fresno office

2007: Convergent acquired by management and Silver Oak Services Partners

2007: ERS opens Montgomery call center

Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Convergent grew initially through the acquisition of seven diverse business process outsourcing companies with strong management teams and solid local and industry reputations. In recent years, Convergent’s growth has come organically, as the individual divisions have thrived on a combination of local entrepreneurial energy and expertise, backed by world class technology, leadership and financial resources.
